Happy New Year RYH Families!!
Wow what an exciting year 2007 is was for RYH. Here are just a few amazing highlights that RYH was blessed with.
January 2007
RYH expanded to Cerritos! Wow what a understatement that is! Meeting Bob & Mary Buell (owners of B&B Stables in Cerritos) is just short of a miracle for RYH. I personally feel that my hand was held and lead directly to the Buells. With the amazing support of the community and the Buells, RYH is fulfilling one of its biggest dreams! We are raising funds to build our own covered arena, office, tack room and 10 horse stalls. We hope to have it all completed and host our open house in February 2008.
CALNET & TRI-VALLEY SPECIAL OLYMPICS!
I am so proud of how well our riders did in both competitions! In Calnet we took 5 riders and 2 horses and unveiled RYH to the Therapeutic Riding World. We didn't just compete, we took home the Blues! Calvin and Snowflake were absolutely stunning and shined like no other horses. We had multiple offers to purchase our amazing steeds and all of them were met with smiles, laughter and the words of NO WAY! And then there was the Special Olympics. We took 5 riders and 3 horses and once again we not only took home 1st places (the Blues) in every class but also our amazing rider Paul Tayne won "Most Inspirational Rider of The Year" and if that wasn't enough Hansen Dam was under new ownership and after the new owner met our Paul he announced that he would be honored to continue the tradition of hosting the Special Olympics at Hansen Dam for the upcoming years! That is a pretty amazing show season especially since it was RYH's FIRST SHOW SEASON!!

FILMING OF ANIMAL PLANET 2008 PETFINDER SERIES!
Soon to be aired Internationally in February 2008! RYH's little Star has shined so bright that she will be spreading her wings to the whole world! Her personal story of her love of horses and the incredible benefits they have blessed her with through therapeutic riding will be told around the world. You can see the trailer

Wow! RYH had over 100 volunteers help make our riders dreams come true. This is a reflection of true kindness, compassion, devotion, and a true inspiration to us all.
61 RYH riders reached for their dreams in 2007! We encouraged and enhanced their lives by promoting their dreams of words, balance, body awareness, muscle strengthening, and finding true friendship. This was all possible thanks to our beloved therapy horses: Calvin, Cooley, Magic, Mr. Pibb, Mya, Nove, Snowflake and Topper. And soon to join our team in 2008 is Cisco :).
Wow what a Year! A year full of tears of joy and thankfulness that has personally brought me to my knees. Thank you all for helping us continue to make our dreams come true.
