Hi my name is Calvin. I am a handsome registered Blue Roan Paint. I am the biggest horse here standing at 16.1 but as you can see I am a very mellow and loving gelding. I was "Jack Frost" for our costume contest.

Mya came to us from Norcal Equine Rescue after Pet Finders featured Star and her search for a horse on their TV show. Star and Mya have a pretty tight bond and Mya is loving her new home and her new owner. Star decided that she loved RYH therapeutic riding so much that she wanted to share Mya with our other students...Thanks Star! RYH loves you and truly appreciates that you are sharing Mya with us!

Magic is a dark bay Welsh pony who stands only 12.3 hands tall. Although he is really black, it's not an official color for horses, so we say he is dark bay. Magic loves to play with anyone and anything. He is only ten years old and still acts like a little kid!

Nove is an Appendix Quarter Horse with sorrel/bay colors. He's about 22 years old and loves to trail ride and eat shredded carrots. He gets excited and doesn't chew his food carefully, so we have to shred his carrots so that they look like "horse baby food!"

Meet Topper! Miss Darlene says Topper is the "BEST THING IN THE WORLD"! He loves his riders and food...especially anything that comes out of a wrapper. When he hears the wrapper crinkling, he gets so excited! Topper is a Welsh Cob Pony and about 17 years old. He stands 13.2 hands tall.

Cooley is just loving his new home at B&B in Cerritos! As our oldest horse, we've given him the Penthouse at B&B. As you can see, he has become King of his Castle! Cooley is a full Quarter Horse and about 33 years old. He is our oldest horse and has some arthritis that really bothers him from time to time. Because of that, he sometimes has sick days where he stays in his stall and doesn't do lessons. He loves attention and FOOD. But...he won't share any food with anyone, not even his best friend, Nove. He'll throw a temper tantrum if another horse even looks at his food!

Cisco(left) and Mr. Pibb(right) have become best friends since Cisco came to live at RYH last Fall. Here you can see Mr. Pibb planting a big wet kiss on the end of Cisco's nose! Cisco is one of our newest horses. The students and supporters of Ride Your Horse all pitched in and bought Cisco for Miss Darlene for her birthday in 2007.....yep...it made her cry. Cisco came from Norcal Equine Rescue, in Northern California. He had a very hard life before we met him, but he is so happy now to be living in sunny Cerritos with so many loving people and horse friends around him. Cisco is a brown and white paint horse and is about 7 years old. Mr. Pibb is one of everybody's favorites. He is a ten year old Quarter Horse and has only been with us for about a year. His best friend is Cisco and they love to play together when we turn them out for some exercise. Mr. Pibb always greets his visitors with a gentle nicker, especially when he gets a good scratch on the neck or withers.

This beautiful brown and white Paint horse is Buddy. He is huge, but super gentle. We all adore him and are super grateful to his owner, Christy, for loaning him to us until we have enough RYH horses at B&B Stable to accommodate all of our riders. He is very much loved and quite pampered! Have you had a chance to visit his stall yet? He has quite the flair for interior design! We may ask Buddy to help Miss Darlene decorate her new office at B&B!
